La Magie des Surprises Parties (The Magic of Surprise Parties) |
||||||||||||||||||
Four years after appearing on The School of Fans, at 12 years of age, Vanessa was chosen to sing "La Magie des Surprises Parties" ("The Magic of Surprise Parties"). It was written by the Forban brothers Philippe and Jean-Louis, who regularly performed as an 80s duo that sang lightweight 50s-style pop. Vanessa sang the song once in public, in a TV contest called Eurovision; she didn't win. ![]() "La Magie des Surprises Parties" was recorded, but never really released by record label AB. It was available in stores after the enormous success of "Joe le Taxi," but uncle/godfather/manager Didier Pain quickly drew up papers that drove the single back into obscurity. Every once in a while you can spot a copy for sale on eBay. (Audio coming back soon...) |
