Witch Way Love is the second of four movies Vanessa would make with French film producer Christian Fechner. Made in 1996 in New York City, Paris, the French countryside, and Venice, it was released into French cinemas on March 19, 1997. Rene Manzor wrote and directed this feature. Vanessa, Jeanne Moreau and Jean Reno are joined by American actors Gil Bellows and Dabney Coleman.
Vanessa is Morgane, one of a handful of witches left in the world. She has a baby son named Arthur, who must be assigned a godfather before his first birthday. Morgane needs to prevent the evil sorcerer, Molok (played by Reno), from becoming Arthur’s godfather. She sets her sights (and magic) on Michael (played by Bellows), an inventor in Paris whose birthday coincides with Arthur’s. What Morgane had not intended was to fall in love…
